Off in the distance is a Human party -attempting- to assault the base, unfortunately for them, the three or four steam tanks do not quite have the range to reach the base. Very interestingly up in the top left of the shot, flying over the ocean we see three Gryphons and their Dwarven riders, this is confirmation that the Gryphons are actually in the game.
