The heavily armored Terran Dropships are a vital part of Colonial defense, and are fully rated for both atmospheric and deep space flight. The daredevil pilots of these transports are charged with delivering Marine armor and infantry to any hot spot or combat zone. These staple ships have gone little change since the first war, though their improved landing systems now allow them to unload troops at a much improved rate.
Strategic Properties:
The Terran Dropship is a necessity for Terran Mobility, especially in light of the rather cumbersome siege tanks. As in the original Starcraft, the Dropship will play a key role in deploying Siege Tanks on otherwise unreachable terrain, and the marines and SCVs used to protect them. Currently it is unclear whether the dropship will have a secondary role much as the new Protoss Phase Prism.

While Goliath proved to be a valuable asset in the first war, their lack of mobility made them difficult to deploy against swift enemy strikes. In response, Terran ingenuity has allowed them to mount Goliath's deadly arsenal of weapons on the wings of a swift fighter. The resulting machine, the Viking fighter, is a mechanical worker that can transform into a superiority fighter at will. Possessing deadly anti-air gemini missiles, the Viking Fighter can deploy itself onto the ground to avoid enemy missiles and deploy its most massive weapons. Yet, should then be threated from the ground, these wikings can always take to the skies.
Strategic Properties:
Viking Fighters provide terran commanders with extreme versatility. In packs, they are ideal for hunting down enemy capital ships, as such fleets are general guarded by enemy supriority fighters. A well excuted landing allows Vikings to bypass such troublesome guards and hit home.

The massive Behemoth-class Battlecruisers are virtual flying fortresses, built to keep the peace within the Terran Sector. Outfitted with multiple burst-laser batteries for both anti-air and anti-ground support, these ships are easily the most powerful Colonial vessels. Armed with the devastating Yamato Cannon for use in situations requiring more precision than orbital nuclear bombardment, the Battlecruiser is the ace of the Terran fleet. Since the arrival the Zerg, the Battlecruiser's core design has been further improved. The implementation of duel laser batteries, together with an improved targeting system now allows this behemoth to rain death upon land and air units simultaneously.
Strategic Properties:
Battlecruisers are slow, but powerful. If a player is able to amass a critical mass of such ships in relative secrecy so that his opponent does have time to construct a significant fleet of fighters, he is almost guaranteed victory. Once armed with Yamato Canons, Battlecruisers become truly dangerous. When charged, a single shot is capable of wiping out almost any non-capital ship and orbital defenses. This spell is ideal for taking out high threat units, such as the Protoss mothership, from long range before they can wreck havoc in battle.
If properly escorted by air superiority fighters... a fleet of Battlecruisers has potential to bring the game to an end.

Yamato Cannon:
The Battlecruiser can launch a concentrated blast of plasma that deals 260 damage to the target unit. |

Dual Attack:
The Battlecruiser can attack one ground and one aerial unit simulatenously. This ship is doubly dangerous when swarmed. |
