The Dark Elf- Part 4It was a cold night, as Lordaeron's winter was setting in. They had no fire going, as they could not risk being found by the Orcs with only three men.
"Grildarr, might you be able to reach Sherez Narrn in time?" Asked Uther. "I should hope so, we cannot defeat Jek'Hazarr without the Rangers' help! We might as well get moving, if we don't they'll find us for sure!" and with that, they moved along.

"Our agent BETTER be accomplishing his mission. Lest we shall not be able to drain that damned world of it's magic! I can't wait to hang all their heads on pikes and parade them through the galaxy..." Ferezarr was just as impatient as the rest of the Infernals, one of the most powerful minions of the Burning Legion.
"Don't worry, he shall clear the way. It is a pity Jek'Hazzarr is ignorant of the agent's existence!" That was indeed a downside. Their agent had been contacted in a dream, and that was all. A rift that allowed thoughts to travel between dimensions only opened every thousand years!
Ferezarr sneered, "He had BETTER. Anyway, what shall we do with him and Jek'Hazarr? I should hope that we destroy them to fully accomplish our goal!"
Den'l, another Infernal, stood up "We shall destroy them indeed, Ferezarr! No matter what loyalty they harbor to us, they are still descendants of those wretched Guardians! They shall die less painfully, though. Quicker."

"Damn you, Shzek, must you juggle those axes all night?" The thump sound when the Troll caught them was getting incessant!
"Scrow-boo!" Acknowledged the Troll Axethrower, and he put them down. "We shall start hunting them now, let's go. Sherez Narrn is still two days away, so we must kill them at all costs!"
The Dark Elf and four Trolls headed east, as quick as they could, which was VERY fast indeed. Soon they heard noises, only to see two footmen and an archer on patrol, probably from the local Town Hall.
"All right, flank them. I'll fire from the front."
The four Trolls headed to the left and right of the patrol, and Jek fired an arrow at the archer. Soon axes were lobbed wildly at the footman, and all that remained were torn flesh and blood-soaked armor.
"Stick the swords in them, and arrows. Then put them outside the Town Hall, we want to make them think this is a full rebellion, to distract their forces from us AND other Orc bases."
***
They were about five more minutes to the local Town Hall when they found the bodies, full of arrows and two swords.
"A rebellion HAS occured! That Elf may not have been the Dark One, but a mere REBEL!" Shouted Uther.
"Indeed it may be, comrade! Grildarr, quickly, head for the Town Hall! We shall carry the bodies." Suggested Shazz.
When the Town Hall came into view, Grildarr stumbled and fell... Onto what looked like a gem of some sort. He put it in his pocket and went on his way.
"Sire, sire! Open the gates, I must speak to the Magistrate! A rebellion has started!" The footman shouted, "Rebellion! Otho, open the gates! Tell the Magistrate someone MUST see him!"
The Magistrate looked strangely like the merchant they saw earlier during the trip... "I shall send every messenger I have to every surrounding camp, young scout! Now, it appears two of your comrades have arrived. Why don't you sleep here for the night?" Grildarr nodded and went to meet up with Shazz and Uther.
***
Grildarr stared at his gem in the candlelight while Uther and Shazz were asleep. It was red, small, and sort of round with lots of corners. It seemed untouched for something that has rested in the dirt for who knows how long.... He stared at it unblinkingly for minutes, and then he suddenly fell asleep.
When Grildarr awoke, he found Shazz and Uther nowhere to be seen in their room. He went into the hall and found several men with knives in them, blood all over the walls and floor. He went downstairs, only to find Uther and Shazz, swords in hand, with spears driven through their hearts. "Is anyone out there!? HELP!!" His voice hit the wall and echoed back to him. Whatever attacked, why did it spare him? Grildarr took out the jewel and looked at it for a moment...
"What are you doing here? What the blazes happened here?" Shouted an Elf... The Elf they had met at the outpost, who ambushed them.
"Oh, it's you. Any lasts requests before I kill you?"
The scout had a look on his face that made Jek'Hazarr shudder a little. Then the boy spoke, "Why did you kill all these people?" He asked.
Jek thought, hmm I wonder, should I lie and say I killed them? "No, I didn't kill them. Neither did my Orcish companions. I have no idea who killed them, maybe this rebellion lie I started is not a lie after all!"
Jek gave a small laugh, "A LIE? Then what about…"
The scout stopped, he figured it out finally.
"Well, I'll leave you to here to die as I burn this place to the ground. Shzek, order your Trolls to see to it that he doesn't escape the Town Hall." The Troll nodded and exited the building...
