The Journals of Gul'Dan (Chapter 2)Arcane Magic: Day 345
As you might notice later in this particular entry I have learned to correct my grammar, and have decided to leave this small village and proceed to the wastelands. I feel some strange power emanating there. Ner’zhul and my other tutors are of no use to me anymore. I have learned all that I can from them and have gone above and beyond their minor powers. My other journals have been destroyed in a fire that I conjured in my earlier days. I felt that I could no longer write for my past had been destroyed. I was a fool, they were mere pieces of paper, with my sloppy writing upon them, writing I cannot even read.
I had a vision, a vision that I would form a group, made entirely out of Orcish Magi, one that would conquer a world. Unfortunately the Orcish Horde has conquered this part of Draenor and we do not move on until all resources are gone here. An Orcish woman gave birth to a son this day> I feel a strange emanation of battle coming from him. Upn investigation, his name is Blackhand. I start for the wasteland now. Perhaps my destiny lies there.
I am in an old Obsidian Spire. It seems to be older than the spire in Mylvick village. I read what is a story of things to come. It tells of the destruction of Draenor. Perhaps another story of apocalypse. I read it and even though I do not believe a single word, I feel something strong from it.
"The mortal wizard Midivh, shall open a portal to Azeroth,"
Azeroth, sounds very familiar.
"The Hordes of green faced monsters, shall slaughter."
"Blackhand shall be betrayed,"
"The mortal wizard shall fall,"
"but the hammer shall fall,"
"And many rifts shall break Draenor."
Perhaps studying-
I was grabbed from this world, and wrenched to another, the Swirling Nether, it must be. The legends match. Perhaps this Prophesy could truly tell what happens. I walked among the legends of the past, then I saw a place of immense power, a tomb, below sapphire waves, a tomb of a great power. Then I saw that man, a man I saw in a drunken vision on my third day of Arcane training. I am however the only Orc in history to proceed through Arcane training this fast, I have made history twice now. What will happen now?
It is now nearly dawn. I have worked most of the night to repair this ancient temple. Yet it still seems to be quite small, the catacombs below seem to go on for ages. I sleep now, knowing that I will become the greatest Orcish warlock of all history. The only obstacle in my way is time...
