Poem: A Plea for ReleaseThe evening, soon, it will arrive,
When Diablo II will come alive,
And you would have to be deprived,
To not rush out and buy it,
Killing monsters, touring Hell,
In the town it all seems well,
I know this game will oversell,
To those who wish to try it,
But till then, I can't relax,
Just waiting to get that awesome axe,
Playing D II to the max,
Until another sequel,
Will it come out before Y2K?
Oh when will I ever get to play,
Make it soon, oh this I pray,
Diablo has no equal,
Well I know there's already Hellfire,
But of this, I soon will tire,
I will be the very first buyer,
When Diablo II hits the stores,
I think it comes on four CDs,
So beating it ain’t no breeze,
I want to play it, please oh please,
I can't wait to hear a demon's roars,
It's kind of like the original one,
Only twice as hard and twice the fun,
Doesn't need much RAM to run,
Oh, I really want that game,
Well Battle net had lots of hackers,
PKs galore and dumb Bot stackers,
Well say goodbye to all the slackers,
'Cause this time it's not the same.
I know Diablo's really cool,
The sequel too, I know will rule
You must be some kind of fool,
To not realize what's in store,
If by 2000 it doesn't come out,
I'm gonna stamp my feet and shout,
Then go to my room and quietly pout,
Blizzard, whatcha waiting for?!?
