The End of The Galaxy: Part 1

Aiur- Carrier Pailor
Questioning of a Protoss Zealot who was the only survivor of a Protoss outpost

Our base was crippled in a massive attack, by the Zerg. They attacked one side with an army of Zerglings. We were having trouble keeping up so we sent our Reavers over. They moved too slow and we lost many of our comrades. Including Jusell. He was good friend, along with Iskin, Pkoul, and Ukini. They all perished in the Zergling attack.

After killing off most of the Zergling a mass of Hydralisks and Ultralisk moved in on the opposite side. Most of forces were parked at the north. I was too slow and was not able to get there fast enough. Mutalisk flew in to the north and slaughter many of us. I ran into a nearby temple. Shame for that will forever be on my shoulders. But there is no dishonor in trying to repay for that shame later. The temple was shaking as most of the base was eradicated. I ran out the other side and plowed through some Zerglings and Hydralisks. By this time I was already thankful I had a custom built zealot suit. My legs were torn and I could barely hold my wait. I ran with all my might toward a wall. What I hoped to accomplish I cannot recall at this time.

A Zergling jumped at me. It took a lot of my strength to swing my blades. I chopped him right in half. The halves fell on the ground while spilled blood flowed out. The rest of the Zerglings quickly gathered around their fallen comrade. They started eating him up. At this time I reached the wall. They had finished I remember with crystal clarity, one turned and stared. The hatred and spirit of fight in those eyes have been forever burned into my memory. He ran at me. I could feel my life flashing before my eyes. All those battles, you cannot win them all. I mumbled a few last words "My life is for Aiur you Zerg can take it but not Aiur, not without a fight,"

A blue flash illuminated. The Zergling was now but a black spot on the ground. I looked up. A massive shadow in the sky, a carrier had come to save me. But not one, not two, not three, four carriers had come to save me. They quickly gunned down the Zerg as I stood against the wall. Then the Pailor landed on the ground and took me aboard.

A seemingly never-ending force of Zerg was repeatedly attacking the Protoss forces on Aiur. The latest calculations say that more Zerg are on Aiur than on Char by far. Some Protoss accepted defeat and retreated from Aiur. But many took a stand. A vast majority of those many died before Zerg hands. The Terrans could not help. Those who tried were slain along with the Protoss. Aiur was soon over 75% Zerg populated. A large mass of creep could be seen from the orbit. A lot of Protoss sided with the Terrans and was doing their best to get as far away from Aiur as possible. They were the wisest. The area around Aiur was being evacuated as the Zerg had been chasing out the remaining forces around Aiur. The Zerg has completely moved to Aiur.

With the Zerg outnumbering the Protoss forces on Aiur a hundred to one. The Zerg moved on to attack the main interstellar Protoss communications complex. It was one of the few remaining Protoss complexes on Aiur. As the masses of Zerg moved in from all directions, the Mutalisks and Ultralisks mowed down everyone they were tearing through what the Protoss had taken millennia to build. The Protoss templar at the control panicked and he sent distress signals as far as he could. He overclocked the communications array as far as it would go. He sent it so loud that it everything that could hear it heard it loud and clear.

Too bad the Zerg infested planets were the only ones that heard it... save one. There was only one being on this planet. On a survey mission in a small craft, he was neither Zerg nor Protoss nor Terran. He was a long-range scientist of the Xel'Naga. He picked it up and immediately recognized the sender as the legendary Protoss race that his ancestors supposedly created. He recorded the whole thing and got closer to Aiur to record more. He return to the Xel'Naga homeworld with his findings. It took him only an hour to travel from Aiur to the Xel'Naga homeworld.

When the Xel'Naga Emperor heard of this he immediately said that it was nonsense. But the scientist was too smart he had taken samples of concrete biomaterial evidence that the "Zerg" and the "Protoss" exist. The Emperor revealed that this had been kept a secret for a very long time but now it was revealed. He admits that the Xel'Naga made a grave mistake when they made the Zerg and the Protoss.

"These abominations cannot be allowed to prosper. They had been mistakes that our ancestors made this led to their demise. They have grown since that first day fom a simple genetic experiment into a full prospering race. They must be terminated!" he commanded,

Just then a Xel'Naga citizen said from the crowds, "From what we have heard they seem intelligent, what about trying for peace, Emperor!"

"Peace? Peace? They were designed to be mindless killing machines they are incapable of peace. They must be eliminated at all costs!" And so began the beginning of the end of the galaxy. The Zerg taken over Aiur, the Protoss on the run, the Terrans nice and safe on their asses, and the Xel'Naga moving for a war, a war that could indeed destroy the
