Dark Origin:

Invistigate the Energy Signature

I, chief cerebrate for the Queen of Blades single handily tracked the movements of Samir Duran. The elite group of Mutalisks under my command smelling his scent... it seemed that he was hurrying towards the Dark Moon of Shakurus. Daring not to show our presence, we remained hidden.

Finally a cycle after Duran's landing on the Dark Moon, my swarms and me grew impatient... Slowly I ordered a landing and we searched the planet for any clues of what may have happened on the Moon. What we found was a disturbing battle between Zeratul's war party and a group of Terrans under unknown affiliation. It seemed that there was no longer anyone is sight. Finally after hours of searching, we found a hand held panel half buried in the snow, upon closer inspection it seemed to be Zeratul's personal account of what happened here. I have included it below:

As me and my most loyal Dark Archons and Dragoons landed on the Dark moon, we knew there was something weird about these energy signatures. Slowly we advanced eastwards to investigate and as suspected, the Terran was not happy of our presence. The first line of defence was easy prey of my own Blades. With no means of detection, they stood no chance against my swift and deadly strikes. When all 2 Tanks and 3 Marines crumpled into the snow, I ordered the contingent to continue.

The Science Vessel 'decides' to join our Cause A science Vessel that patrolled nearby was quickly Mind Controlled by a fellow Dark Archon, using it, we managed to spot a Siege Tank situated on a cliff face just in front of us. Quickly another Dark Archon was brought and Siege Tank was ours. I can just imagine the surprise of the marines below as their own siege tank blasts them to oblivion.

It was then that the first Stasis cell was spotted. Finding disturbing news I decided to continue and investigate. The line of Photon Cannons that blocked our way Southwards was easily rendered useless by using the Dragoons to destroy the Pylons that powered them. The Battlecruiser, which emerged, was quickly 'persuaded' to join our course by the Dark Archons. Continue to B, we managed to free one of our Brethren from the stasis cells. After awakening, the Templar was glad to join our investigation.

Using Psionic Storm, I managed to clear the marines blocking our way. Despite them setting off an Infested Marine to destroy us, we managed to continue to D with minimal losses. Here another Science Vessel was Mind Controlled and Irradiate proved invaluable it getting rid of the marines, which patrolled the ledge. Here at the stasis cell, more disturbing news was found.

Deciding that perhaps I was still in time to end this new threat, I ordered the hastening of the troops. The last Terran base was heavily guarded. The wraith, which patrolled the outer perimeter, was silent eliminated using Feedback. Continuing, the Science Vessels managed to draw 3 Battlecruisers forward from the Siege Tanks protection. Without hesitation, all three were Mind Controlled.

Mind COntrolled Battlecruisers turn on their own comrades

Using my new allied the contingent of 4 Battlecruisers quickly laid waste to the Terran defences. The few ghosts were eliminated by feedback. It wasn't long before I stormed into the Terran Research Facility. I just hope I'm in time to prevent the unthinkable...

Exactly what was disturbing was never found, apparently Zeratul was reluctant to let anyone know of the secrets he found in the Dark Moon. After a further 2 days of investigation, all my Zerg brood could find was the remnants of the Battle and a few Broken Stasis Cells. Whatever Terran civilisation was once there was abandoned. Now I must return to Char, as I have received word from My Queen that it is under attack... I shall report to you of the battle
