Gambling Guide: Version: 1.04 Skill Level: Average Game Type: Any Author: =+Bubba+= Objective: For people who have trouble obtaining certain items.

Hey there. Ever wonder how so many people got so many good rares and you just find crap. For me, I find one of this strategy for obtaining many good items quite interesting. This strategy is called gambling. Yes, gambling.

You're probably thinking like "Hey, what the heck is this guy talking about? This is a chance strat. I don't like chance strats!" But think again. Gambling is one of the most unique way of getting the items you want.

Let me start with the requirements of using this gambling strategy.

1. You must be able to obtain large amounts of money without trouble.
2. You must be willing to spend money.
3. You must be willing to accept what you get.
4. You must keep a good attitude. =)

Hint : One way of getting large amounts of money is by selling superior items or any items in nightmare. I sold this hard leather armor from nightmare for about 24000. The defense was 238 and it had 60 percent resistance.

Now let's start with the strategy, alright? Well firstly, you would definitely need to know what kind of item you want.

For a example: Let's say I want nightsmoke. Nightsmoke is a belt. So when gamble, I would gamble for a belt. Obviously, you wouldn't find nightsmoke as a armor. DUH! Gamble for what the item is. Another example. Vidala's ambush is a quilted armor. So if you want to find that, gamble for quilted armors.

Ok, now you know what item your "NEED" is. "NEED" is the item you want. Ok, so let's go to where you want to gamble. The best place to gamble is in Lut Gholein. The reason? There is a special option in this place that other places don't have such easy access to. This place has the ability to replace its gambling items. That's right. To replace items, go to the sewers from the trap door to the upper right of Elzix. Then go back up to town and visit Elzix again. His gambling items will switch. So if you can't find that certain item that you are gambling for, keep going back and forth.

For an example: Let's say that Elzix does not have gauntlets. You would go back and forth until you see a pair of gauntlets that can be gambled.

It only takes you 15 secs to switch the gambling items.

Okay, good job. Now you know where and what to gamble. Now for the gambling technique. Listen up pal. This is important. In order for this strategy to work, you must have at least 5 times more money than the item is worth when gambling.

For an example: The regular gloves cost 2600 to gamble. If you want to get a good rare or at least a rare or a set item or a unique from this gambling, you must have 13000 gold How I get 13000? Multiply 2600 by 5. This way, you can be sure you can get a item from this gambling.

So... You got the money, you know where to gamble, and you know what to gamble for. So start gambling. Don't worry. The chances of you getting a rare or unqiue or a set item is 1/5. This ratio is pretty accurate, but don't yell at me if you try 5 times and not get shit. I'm just say that this is the general ratio. Keep trying. I got most of my Necromancer stuff from gambling. It took me 20 tries to get nightsmoke. But on the way to gambling for a nightsmoke, I got 4 rares then I finally got a nightsmoke. Don't give up.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Remember you need the 4 requirements on the upper part of this guide.

Conclusion: Gambling is a good and yet frustrating way to get good items. Why? Sometimes you may be mad lucky and get some good stuff and some other times, you get crap. Just keep gambling and remember, you're not gonna keep that money forever. Money can be replaced, but items can't. JUST KEEP GAMBLING. DON"T GIVE UP.
