The ability to create Warcraft 2 Customs has been around for a few years, however it is only recently that customs could be created for Warcraft 2 Battle.net Edition. So far the only way to create such customs in via creating a custom MPQ by the name of War2patch.mpq. To run each of the customs, simply extract the War2patch.mpq file into your Warcraft 2 BNE directory and run Warcraft 2. To remove the custom, delete or rename the mpq file.
