Fixed both the comment and rating abuse, while I don't understand how a dolt could have that much time to waste.
In any case; votes are logged, comments are logged, users are tagged and can be banned.
I'm rewriting the archive's core, as it was partially botched originally, so you might get a couple of parse errors or 404s; it's for a greater good.
On a side note, if any of you are looking for a web programmer or a new layout, I'm a programming whore and charge decent prices. Feel free to drop me a line.
Today, you might experience some slight anomalies with the Map Archive, as it's going under maintenance. A handful of brilliant individuals decided it was fun to impersonate the Infoceptor staff, as well as map makers themselves, and went on a massive spamming festival on the comments system, as you've no doubt experienced. Unfortunate, but this brings around much more strict user handling. Registration will no longer be the same, requiring verification via e-mail; comments will become moderated and ultimately, users will be banned from Infoceptor. Permenantly.
I would personally like to thank every single one of you bloody dolts, release prematurely upon this world. May you all rot eternally in the middle of the Maelström.
A major overhaul is on the way for the map archive, I've had some personal issues for the past few months, apart from Infoceptor 4, so it set back my work on the archive quite a bit. During the next few weeks you might notice a lot of changes as I'm taking care of bugs that have been around long enough. New ones might arise, things might go down for a few hours, but rest assured that better things are in store for this script.
A few of you have been spamming my mailbox, sometimes for 2 hours straight, by using the 'Alert an Admin' button. Now, I don't know what kind of retard would get any pleasure out of clicking the same spot for 2 straight hours, apart from those Diablo II folk who think the gem actually does something, but I'd appreciate it if you'd stop. If you're trying to get a point across, I have an e-mail, and writing a message for once won't hurt you. As a matter of fact, it can only benefit the entire community, as what I've done as of now is all thanks to our members' vigilance and dedication.
Yes, I am aware of the Map of the Week glitch, yes I am working on a fix.
