Uploading Rules:
File Types
Map Files must be in '.zip' format, files not in this format will simply not work. These same non-working files will be regularly deleted by the Archive Moderators.
As for minimaps, they can be in any standard compressed image filetype: jpeg, gif or png. While any image type will work, we reserve the right to remove a file that exceeds 60kbs. A 256x256 File shouldn't take more than that at highest quality. Note that whatever file format you upload in, the image is automatically renamed to *.png.
Disclaimer:
Infoceptor reserves the right to delete a map on-sight at its own discretion. Submitted content remains the work of the original author, we don't own it in any way. However, we do own the server you're uploading the files on, and we are paying for the bandwith. You are not allowed to directly link to a map on our server. Link to the individual map properties if you must; that's why a link is generated at the end of the upload sequence to begin with.
