Diablo II Expansion: New Items
The Diablo II Expansion set will feature a whole new swarm of items. Not only will we see new prefixes, suffixes and uniques, but also completely new types of items. Many of such items will be specific to a particular character class, and hence cannot be used by any other. Each will grant great bonus's to the class they're designed for, much like staffs, wands and scepters.

Below is a list of all the currently known new items that'll be featured within the expansion:

Robes and Cloaks
Diablo 2 will reintroduce robes and cloaks that were featured in Diablo 1, but now only the Necromancer can wear them. While these items will offer little protection compared to heavier armor, they are often imbued with enchantments that'll prove favorable for the Necromancer. Currently known types of cloaks/robes are listed below in increasing power:

Not much is known in regards the armor level and requirements of cloaks.

Pelts
Pelts are items designed specifically for the Druid, created out of natural materials. In tune with nature, the druid often prefers these to the artificial garments of modern society. Many of such are enchanted with magical properties deigned specifically to enhance a Druid's power. Currently known types of pelts are listed below in increasing power:

Not much is currently known in regards the armor level and requirements of pelts.

Spiked Gauntlets:
Preferring weapons that can strike at lightning speeds, the Assassins of Sanctuary often opt to use specialized Gauntlets that armed with a deadly array of spikes. Worn in both hands, not only do them sometimes offer bonus's to Assassin skills, but also are essential for some of the Assassin's combat moves. Currently known types of pelts are listed below in increasing power:

Not much is currently known about the actual damage or attack speed of spiked gauntlets.
